Discover the heart of Washington, D.C., on this engaging DC Monuments walking tour. As you stroll through the National Mall, you'll see some of the city’s most iconic monuments, each telling stories of the people and events that shaped the nation.
Led by an expert guide, this small-group experience encourages conversation about what these monuments mean to you and why they stand today. It’s a perfect way to blend history, reflection, and a bit of exercise—all in just a couple of hours.
Prepare to walk about a mile (1.6 km). Bring a water bottle, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t forget your camera. Most importantly, bring your curiosity—there’s plenty to learn and discuss along the way!
The tour lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Yes, it’s designed for all ages. Infants (0–1), children (2–12), and youth (13–17) are welcome. The tour is wheelchair accessible, and small children can ride in strollers or prams.
Bring a reusable water bottle, as there are fill-up stations on the National Mall. Wear comfortable shoes, and feel free to bring snacks and your camera.

Begin at the Washington Monument, dedicated to George Washington. We’ll view and discuss the monument from afar. If you want to see it up close, I recommend doing so before the tour.
Visit the World War II Memorial, honoring the service of 16 million Americans and those who supported them at home. We’ll reflect on their sacrifices.
Explore the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, including the Three Soldiers statue, the Vietnam Women’s Memorial, and The Wall. We’ll discuss how this memorial was created and its ongoing significance.
Pay respects at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, featuring a moving Wall of Remembrance and 19 statues of service members, honoring their sacrifices.
Finish at the Lincoln Memorial, dedicated to Abraham Lincoln, who led the nation through the Civil War and helped end slavery.
